Flight test date.

So I have a date. Finally.

going to be doing my ride with Transport so I can do my pre ride stuff with my regular instructor. (he is a DFTE, and usually does the rides, but since I really like flying with him the most, I figure I'd just stay with what works for me)

Jan 27th is the day.

Finally. I cannot wait to be done.

Of course today there is FZRA, and they are calling for it all day tomorrow as well. Super awesome.

On the bright side, I have been told that the flying portion of the ride should be no problem, so I guess that means I'm flying ok these days.

Fortunately I have done many, many rides. so it's not like it is new.

Mind you, I haven't done a ride for a license since 1998. Since then it's just been ratings, and PPC's.

So this is causing me slightly more stress than usual. but I will live i am sure.

I plan to know the 206 manual so well that if given a pile of parts I could rebuild it myself. haha. just kidding of course, but I do plan on knowing every little thing about it. I hate that moment when you get asked something and you just don't know. So I am going to prevent that from happening. For once. :D

The moment that is done I plan on getting that IFR out of the way ASAP. And then the last few hours I have to burn off.

And then. Then I can finally dust off the old resume, make the appropriate changes, and try to find a job. Which scares me. What if no one wants to hire me? I mean, I'll take anything. I would like rotary wing, sure. But I won't say I won't work fixed wing again. I just want to work. Be productive. Have a normal life again.

That would be awesome.
