Back at it.

Got flying today finally. Monday I had some business I had to tend to, and yesterday the roads were crap, so I stayed home. Oh well.

But today they were good, so I made the trip. Was nice, all the snow in the trees, reminded me of why I do like winter. Sometimes. :D

So up in the jet ranger today, with a different instructor than usual. I've flown with him a few times, and I always learn something new when we do, so I wasn't too stressed out about it. I do seem to screw up the strangest things when I go flying with him though.

Today it was making my spot doing auto's. I have not really had any trouble picking and making spots through out my training. I mean yeah. Def not perfect for sure, but man. Today I was totally out to lunch. Guess I'll cut myself some slack not having flown for 3 weeks. And the 180s were better than the straight ins. go figure.

Anyway, I'm sure I'll figure out what I was doing wrong. I have a feeling I was not looking for my spot 3/4 down the window...I'll keep an eye on that next time.

Then we did a couple of confined's and I got to see how different it is with the snow. Quite.

Just glad to be back at it again.
