Sick again.
funny, when I flew medevacs all the time for years I was hardly ever sick. Must have been due to all the nasty germs I was exposed to on a daily basis. My immune system was the bomb.
but now...not so much.
I have had few minor illnesses this fall, and now I have this horrible full blown cold.
and I cant' really go flying if I can't stop sneezing I figure. I mean, what would happen if I arrived in the hover and started doing that at the same time? I shudder to think. It was bad enough fixed wing when the odd sneeze would hit in the flare or something, but this?
so what do helicopter pilots do when they get a cold? Stay on the ground? Because also, there is the whole snot factor. and if my left hand is on collective, and right hand is on cyclic...well, yeah. ick.
Between this and the 206 being broken I seem to have a week off. I was really hoping to be done something by xmas, but is not to be I guess. Hopefully the cold clear weather moves in for Jan and I can just fly my ass off and get done.
I want to be done.
Enough. I'd rather be job hunting...or maybe not...LOL
